This is our Toddler Easter basket craft. Play dough is wonderful for toddlers to improve motor skills and for hours of creative fun. This craft teaches them how to make an Easter egg basket which can be filled with candy for easter. The craft is also part of the toddler Easter scene which is part of the Emily’s Easter adventure crafts. For the Toddler Easter egg basket craft you will need:
1. A batch of play dough – we have a fun easter play dough recipe with baking instructions under our recipes section
2. Some tin foil to make the basket structure
3. Craft paint

4. Glitter pens and other items to decorate

Instructions to make the simple Toddler Eater Egg basket:
1. Make a small basket base out of tin foil – use a round lid or caontainer if you need to make the base
2. Make a tin foil sausage to form the handle
3. Use tin foil to attach the handle to the base
4. Cover the basket well with play dough
5. Bake according to the isntructions
5. Paint with craft paint once the basket is cool enough
6. Paint with a layer of varnish to seal
7. Decorate your basket with glitter pens, beads, play dough flowers etc.
