Creation Bible Story Cube Puzzle

This craft will show you how to turn white card stock and a paper or polystyrene cup into an awesome pirate hook.

Once again the  craft is part of our pirate party planner series and the hooks can be made in advance for all your pirate guests, or they can be made by the pirates when they arrive as part of the party crafts.

They pirate hooks you make, make cure party favors and your pirates can take them home after the party.

Remember to choose paper cups which are appropriate for the age of your pirates – bigger cups are needed for adult pirate hands

The pirate hooks are really easy to make and the pirate party planner contains the template of the hook you need to print out to make them

We added a T section to the hook – this is to allow you and your pirate to hold onto something inside the cup

The pirate hooks can also be used in a pirate game – fishing for treasure -

With fishing for treasure – take pirate images – there is a lot of pirate clipart in the program for you – and add strings to the images. Place the images in a container – a large bowl or bucket – and allow you pirates to fish out their treasure – you can have loor favor bags marked for each treasure item – so when the pirate fishes out their treasure they are given the corresponding loot bag

This is what our completed hook looks like:

Cut out the templates ( 2 hooks)

Glue the two hooks together

Cut a slit in the base of the cup

Feed the hook through the slit.

To give the hook a rounded effect tape a tin foil snake on either side of the hook using masking tape

Cover the hook with a last layer of tin foil using paper glue to secure the foil
